Ken O'Neill is a 42 year veteran of the Chemical and Energy Industries with extensive domestic and international experience in Strategic Planning, Business Development, Marketing, R&D and Manufacturing with Profit & Loss responsibility. Ken spent twenty seven years of his career with Shell Chemical Company where he retired as Vice President and General Manager of Base Chemicals. His responsibilities included Olefins, Aromatics, Alpha Olefins, Detergent Products and the Solvents businesses. Additionally, Ken had operational and P&L responsibility for Shell's interest in SADAF, a joint venture petrochemical company with SABIC in Saudi Arabia; Shell Chemical USA's international marketing company, Pecten Chemicals; and Shell's agriculture businesses. Along with his operating responsibilities while at Shell, Ken served on a number of corporate and association boards. Following retirement from Shell, Ken was appointed President and COO for BTR plc's Petrochemical Group. The Group included six companies, three joint ventures and 51% interest in three Public Taiwanese Corporations (Asia Polymers, Taita Chemical and China General Plastics). While in Taiwan Ken served as Chairman of the Taiwan Petrochemical Committee and helped establish the Joint Steering Committee To Implement Responsible Care in the Taiwan Chemical Industry. Since his retirement from BTR, Ken has been working with startup and early stage companies in the chemical and energy industries. He has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.
