In 2006 Daryl Waits established Global Mercantile Industries Inc., an industrial technology development company in the energy sector. Services include customer relations, business development, finance and project management. Clients and collaborations include US and foreign government entities as well as Fortune 500 companies such as Shell, Chevron, American Electric Power, the BOC Gases Group. Daryl’s recent endeavors have centered on forming trade and financial partnerships for a major international syndication to develop capital intensive industrial projects, including the STAR-USI Victoria chemical project in Texas. Daryl was born at Hill Air Force Base in Utah, completed high school in Little Rock Arkansas. He studied liberal arts at University of Arkansas in Little Rock then joined the US Navy and went through Basic Mechanical Engineering and Naval Nuclear Power, Orlando Florida ’97, and Nuclear Prototype Training, Charleston South Carolina ’98. US Navy assignments included operations management for the Naval Nuclear Power Program, where he oversaw the safe operation of nuclear power plant electricity generation during training and while assigned to the USS Abraham Lincoln Aircraft Carrier. Daryl matriculated at University of Phoenix in 2000, enrolled in Business Administration.
