Mark Viehman is responsible for the economic evaluation and structuring of all off-take contracts, debt and equity for ECG projects. In addition, Mark's expertise in the power and natural gas sectors is applied to the marketing of power or synthetic natural gas produced from our projects. He has been active in the power and natural gas sectors for over twenty-five years and has developed a broad range of experience in the development, commercial, and technical aspects of projects in both the U.S. and abroad. Prior to joining ECG in 2004 Mark served as Director of Long Term Origination for Suez⁄Tractebel North America, where he developed new long-term generating capacity acquisitions and sales in the Northeastern US power markets. Before that, Mark served as Director of Project Evaluation for BHP Power in Melbourne Australia, managing the economic evaluation and financing of power projects in China, India, Vietnam and Australia. Past experience includes Manager of Enron Power Marketing in its founding days, and Senior Economic Analyst for AMOCO. Mark has a BA from Duke University, majoring in economics and public policy with a minor in physics, and an MBA from the University Of Chicago Graduate School Of Business with a specialization in finance.
